Over the weekend, some demonstrators made a point of waving American flags to mark the US independence day celebrations. This, as Joshua Wong and other prominent Hong Kong activists vowed to continue campaigning for democracy. Wong has been detained many times by police and isnow being prosecuted for his involvement in last year’s protests.
