Serbia coronavirus protests: What are they really about? | DW News

There’s been a third night of protests in Serbia against the government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. That’s despite an official ban on gatherings of more than 10 people. The protests started earlier this week, after the government proposed a second lockdown due to a sharp spike in COVID-19 cases, which some blame on Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s decision to hold elections.
