Funeral directors wearing full biohazard suits, nurses wearing raincoats because of the lack of PPE – these are all becoming familiar sights in South Africa. Communities in the country are becoming overwhelmed by coronavirus, where it’s rapid progression through townships has led to hospitals and morgues simply running out of room.
