Coronavirus cases have surged in India, as the country is now expected to reach a million infections in the next days and more than 32,600 new cases were reported this Thursday. A three-day lockdown is going into effect as of Thursday night in the state of Goa, which is also implementing a night curfew until August 10, and the Eastern State of Bihar is now into a two-week lockdown. Covid-19 has claimed more than 29,000 lives in India, including more than 600 over the last 24 hours.
