Former Prime Minister Tony Blair is calling for mass COVID-19 testing and says a second lockdown would cause “catastrophic” damage to the economy. He wants the government to maximise their “full testing capacity”. By doing so, Mr Blair claims it would avoid the need for a ‘strict lockdown and quarantine rules’ that are causing ‘damage to businesses.’
