Wild fires have taken hold in California, after high winds and lightening strikes resulted in evacuation orders for more than one hundred thousand people. At least five residents have been died so far. As five hundred individual blazes took hold, President Donald Trump declared a state of emergency. Previously Mr Trump blamed the state for failing to manage forests correctly, and threatened to withhold Federal cash from tackling the deadly blaze.
