US election 2020: Trump against postal ballots – BBC News

US President Donald Trump has suggested that postal ballots could lead to fraud in the upcoming election. Addressing delegates at a scale-back party convention in North Carolina, he said: “This is the greatest scam in the history of politics.” The president is due to give a formal acceptance speech to the party jamboree on Thursday. It is unusual for candidates to address the convention before that point as Mr Trump has done.
