The world’s animal population has plummeted by almost 70% since 1970, with Central and Latin America seeing a decline of 94%. That’s according to a new report by NGO WWF pointing the finger at human farming, which is increasingly invading wild habitats. The authors are calling increased conservation efforts, and for people to eat less meat for a more eco-friendly diet.
