Greek authorities struggle to feed and house migrants after Moria fire | DW News

Thousands of migrants and refugees on the Greek Island of Lesbos are demanding more permanent housing elsewhere, after a fire destroyed the overcrowded Moria camp. A massive blaze on Tuesday left more than 12,000 camp residents homeless. The Greek army has begun building replacement shelter, but many of the migrants are opposed to the construction of another camp. They want permission to leave the island. DW’s Alexandra von Nahmen reports from Lesbos.
