Coronavirus: How homeless camps have grown in LA

Residents in some of LA’s wealthiest areas have started leaving as homeless camps increase following the pandemic, as many people are not able to afford rent or mortgages. Before the pandemic, figures showed a 16.1% rise in homelessness to 41,290 according to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority and that could increase by 36,000.
