Brexit Bill: ‘I have never gone into a lobby to vote in a way I knew was wrong’

Despite criticism from former prime ministers over the legislation which breaks international law, MPs backed the bill by 340 to 263. However, some Conservative MPs refused to vote the Bill through, deeming it ‘wrong’. The Brexit Bill still faces significant challenges with another vote in the House of Commons and the House of Lords left.
