Nicola Sturgeon says difficult but necessary decisions are likely in the coming days to tackle COVID-19 as the country reaches a ‘critical point’ in fighting the virus. The Scottish First Minister says she has requested an urgent COBRA meeting with the prime minister and leaders of the devolved nations to discuss new measures to try and stop the spread of coronavirus. Ms Sturgeon had also announced an expansion of a survey tracking the disease in Scotland and urged anyone who is invited to take part to do so.
