Clashes broke out between #Kashmir locals and the police in the Batamaloo area of #Srinagar in the early morning of Thursday, after a gunfight that killed four triggered tensions in the area. Protesters were seen throwing projectiles at police forces, while law enforcement officers responded with tear gas. According to local reports, two officers of the Central Armed Police Force (CRPF) were injured and a 45-year-old woman died in cross-firing during the encounter.
