The government is being urged review its 10pm curfew for bars and pubs. The mayor of Greater Manchester warned it might be doing ‘more harm than good’ when large crowds formed in city centres after closing time. MPs were also embarrassed when bars in the Palace of Westminster were originally exempt from the ban because they are classed as workplace canteens.
