French President Emmanuel Macron was in Lithuania Tuesday, in talks with exiled Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya in a bid to resolve the country’s political crisis. The meeting was Tikhanovskaya’s most high-profile meeting since a presidential election on August 9 in which she has claimed victory against strongman president Alexander Lukashenko.
