President Trump is leaving hospital after his medical team said he could return to the White House where he will continue his treatment for Covid-19. His personal physician said the 74-year-old wasn’t entirely out of the woods yet but they were cautiously optimistic. Donald Trump announced on Twitter that he was “feeling great” and “better than he did 20 years ago”. He said people shouldn’t be afraid of coronavirus. The president is being given aggressive treatments that doctors are have said are “uncharted territory”. They include a cocktail of antibodies, the anti-viral drug remdesivir and the steroid dexamethasone which is normally reserved for when patients become seriously ill.
