“We have to hold Big Tech accountable” Interview with EU Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager

The European Union is working on the introduction of the Digital Services Act – Legislation that shall limit the powers of Big Tech companies like google, facebook, Apple, Microsoft or Amazon. In an interview with DW EU Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager said, that digital service providers have a responsibility “to make sure that people feel as comfortable when they are online as when they are offline,” and that “We have to hold Big Tech accountable”
