Students are at the heart of recent protests in #Thailand demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha. The former army chief led a military coup in 2014 and strengthened his position in controversial elections in 2019. But protesters are also addressing an age-old taboo: the role of the monarchy.
