The MHRA – the authority which authorises medicines for public use – has approved the use of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. It’s Chief Executive Dr June Raine outlined the ‘extremely through and scientifically rigorous review’ that the agency has gone through to approve the vaccine.
