A rift between Australia and China has deepened after a faked image of an Australian soldier holding a knife to the neck of an Afghan child was posted on a Chinese government Twitter account. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said Beijing should be “utterly ashamed” for sharing the “repugnant” image.
