Care home residents are at the top of the queue for the coronavirus vaccine – but practical challenges mean they may have to wait longer than over-80s and care home staff. The vaccine needs to be stored at -70C, it can only be moved four times and it comes in batches of 975 doses. Ashish Joshi visits the Meadows Residential Care Home, where residents are looking forward to a much more hopeful year ahead.
