Over a hundred anti-fascist activists rallied to protest an event by the Vox party, hosted by its leader Santiago Abascal, in Barcelona. Scuffles erupted when counter-protesters attempted to break through the police cordon separating them from attendees of the Vox party event, and a far-right group who crashed the gathering without Vox’s authorization. At the conclusion of the Vox event, the far-right activists were performing fascist salutes, chanting, and waving a swastika-like flag from the far-right v.
