Nothing to see here | ICC drops inquiry into UK war crimes – though they very likely occurred

Although the prosecutor had reason to believe atrocities took place, the International Criminal Court has dropped its investigation into alleged war crimes by Britain’s armed forces in Iraq between 2003 and 2008 because the UK had already investigated the matter itself.
