The Brexit rollercoaster continues with no clear sign of when the ride will stop. Talks were extended on Sunday but neither the EU nor the UK were clear about whether any progress had been made and with Boris Johnson remaining pessimistic of securing a deal. The likelihood is for negotiations to continue right up to Christmas and beyond ahead of the end of transition on 31 December.
