A robot-powered restaurant with the conveyor belt system running through the ceiling was opened in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. The pink boxes move back and forth carrying food from the kitchen above the diners’ heads and delivering it onto the tables. Robot-equipped restaurants have become popular due to the possibility to reduce human-to-human contact amid the COVID pandemic.
