Pfizer vaccine starts European rollout after regulatory approval

Elderly people and frontline workers will be first in line for the coronavirus vaccine developed by BioNTech and Pfizer following its EU approval Monday. The vaccine has already been given some form of regulatory authorisation in at least 15 countries, including in Britain and the United States. Deliveries of the vaccine are expected to start on Saturday, with EU countries including Germany, Austria and Italy having said they plan to start vaccinations from Sunday.
