Members of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) stopped the preparation of a terrorist attack in Makhachkala, Dagestan. According to the FSB press service, four members of the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) were detained during the operation. They reportedly planned to detonate an explosive device near one of the administrative buildings of Dagestan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and carry out an armed attack on the employees there.
