French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned the attack on the US Capitol building. He said “What happened today in Washington DC is not America, definitely.” The attack came as election results n Georgia shifted the balance of power in Congress towards the Democrats. The results will help aid the passage of President-Elect Biden’s agenda after he is inaugurated on 20 January.
