The European Union authorised the coronavirus #vaccine developed by US drug company #Moderna on Wednesday, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said, hours after medical regulators gave it the green light. #EU countries started vaccinations on Dec. 27 and are trying to catch up with countries including the #US or Israel where large numbers of people have already received the inoculation.
