The UK’s vaccination programme has been bolstered by the approval of a third COVID-19 jab by Moderna. In one of the largest civilian logistical operations launched in Britain, ministers plan to deliver more than two million inoculations a week by the end of January. Seven mass vaccination centres will open next week to speed up the process.
