New data show that Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine is more than 90 % effective. Initially, western governments had expressed doubts about the vaccine because Russia started using it before completing the usual clinical trials. But now results published in the leading medical journal “The Lancet” appear to back up Russian claims that the jab is safe and works. As we report Hungary has already begun using the vaccine.
