How China attempts to stabilize its real estate sector | DW News

China has extended a package of stimulus measures for its troubled real estate sector, including loan relief for property companies struggling with payments. The People’s Bank of China and financial regulators said they want to ‘ensure the delivery of homes’ currently under construction. Some loans will be extended to next year. The relief is seen as part of a broader policy roll-out to support and stabilize a real estate market where financing has all but dried up.
