How artificial intelligence is changing the way sport sounds – BBC News

At Wimbledon, one of tennis’s biggest tournaments, artificial intelligence is being used to provide commentary for games which do not have a human voiceover. The technology can currently generate commentary in a matter of seconds after a point is played, and is used on replays rather than live coverage. But while it hasn’t yet ousted the human commentator, could we eventually be saying game, set and match to the AI?
