Why the Georgia charges could spell more trouble for Trump I DW News

Donald Trump has been indicted on a fourth set of criminal charges. Prosecutors in the state of Georgia accuse the former US president and his associates of meddling in the state’s 2020 election. The case stems from a call during which Mr. Trump urged Georgia’s top election officials to find him more votes. Mr. Trump is front-runner for the Republican 2024 nomination and has rejected the indictment, describing the process as rigged.
