Thailand has elected its new Prime Minister, Srettha Thavisin, to end the political stalemate following the couuntry’s May 14 elections. The 60-year-old property tycoon was nominated for the top job by a coalition led by the Pheu Thai, the party with ties to Thailand’s former PM Thaksin Shinawatra.
