Nairobi climate talks seek African solutions to global warning | DW News

In Kenya’s capital Nairobi, the first Africa Climate Summit has opened. Leaders from across the continent are gathering to discuss the transition to green energy and lay out priorities for the next global climate conference later this year. Africa is responsible for less than 4% of global emissions, but bears the brunt of the effects of climate change.
