‘Britain is not being serious enough’ about threat from Chinese and Russian spies

Trevor Phillips turns to the news that a parliamentary researcher has been arrested for allegedly spying for China. Former cabinet minister and diplomat Rory Stewart tells him we need to review the allocation of parliamentary passes, as well as the funding of MPs. “We have to be much, much more serious,” he says, saying that Russia and China both have “aggressive” security agencies who want access to governments across the world.
