Rishi Sunak says he “raised a range of different concerns” with Chinese Premier Li Qiang on the sidelines of the G20 summit in India today. It comes after it was revealed last night that a parliamentary researcher was arrested for allegedly spying for China. The prime minister says he raised with China’s premier “in particular, my very strong concerns about any interference in our parliamentary democracy which is obviously unacceptable.”
