Rishi Sunak responded to allegations that a parliamentary researcher has been allegedly spying on behalf of China. Mr Sunak said he told Chinese leaders at the recent G20 summit that “actions which seek to undermine British democracy are completely unacceptable and will never be tolerated”. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also said that the UK will “stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes”. He was addressing MPs after returning from the G20 summit in India and called out Russian President Vladimir Putin for not attending.
