Thousands feared dead after devastating floods in Libya | DW News

Libya’s eastern government says more than 150 people have been killed after storm Daniel caused severe flooding. The prime minister of the eastern government, which is not recognized internationally, says thousands more are feared dead in the city of Derna alone. Catastrophic flooding has swept through the city after two dams collapsed under pressure. The storm has swept away entire neighborhoods and wrecked homes in multiple coastal towns.
