October 12 is World Sight Day, pioneered by the organisation ‘Prevent Blindness’. This year’s motto is ‘LoveYourEyes’. The campaign aims to promote accessible and affordable eye care for all by 2030, and to spread information about the leading causes of blindness. Kubra Akkoc reports.
