Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is refusing to bow to pressure for a ceasefire in Gaza. He says the hostages being held by Hamas must be released first. International calls have been growing louder for a pause in the fighting to allow desperately-needed humanitarian aid to be delivered to civilians in Gaza. Families of some of the hostages have traveled to Brussels to ask EU lawmakers to help secure the release of their loved ones.
