A high-level delegation of Arab and Muslim ministers is visiting Bejing this week as part of a push for a ceasefire in Gaza. The officials are from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Indonesia, the Palestinian Authority, and others. They held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday. Beijing has generally supported the Palestinian cause and has called for a two-state solution. Wang Yi said the world must “act urgently” to stop the fighting.
