Twelve Thai nationals taken hostage by Hamas have already been released by Hamas in Gaza, Thailand’s prime minister has said. “It has been confirmed by the security department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that there are 12 Thai hostages already released,” Srettha Thavisin wrote on X. He added that embassy officials are “on their way” to pick them up in the next hour.
