The European Research Group has published its opinion on Rishi Sunak’s Rwanda bill, saying it provides a “partial and incomplete solution to the problem of legal challenges in the UK courts”. The ERG summary added: “We do not believe that it goes far enough to deliver the policy as intended.” The scheme is designed to send people who arrive in the UK in small boats to Rwanda to have their asylum claim considered.
