The UN special envoy for Yemen has expressed his concern about recent developments in the country after the UK and US carried out strikes against Houthi rebels in the region. In a statement, Hans Grundberg urged all parties concerned to “avoid any steps that would worsen the situation, escalate the threat to maritime trade routes or increase regional tensions”.
