Former detective turned whistleblower Maggie Oliver has criticised Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and said the failures identified in the Rochdale grooming report are still happening today. She was speaking after the publication of the damning review which laid bare how those in power failed to protect young girls in Rochdale for years. Ms Oliver, who resigned from GMP in 2012 in order to expose the scandal, now helps the victims of child exploitation.
