The US has condemned Iran over ballistic missile attacks near Iraq’s northern city of Irbil, calling them “a reckless and imprecise set of strikes”. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they struck what they claimed were Israeli “spy headquarters” in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan Region. Four people were killed and six wounded in Monday’s attack, according to the Kurdistan Region Security Council. Iraq denounced the attacks, calling them a violation of its sovereignty.

- They might be, but it’s not necessary. North Korea is a perfect example. North Korea fires their test ICBM’s at a very steep angle. By doing this, the altitude can be measured and extrapolated out to calculate the range. This is how we know that North Korean missiles can reach the US, yet no NK missiles have come anywhere near the US. Iran could test fire their missiles out into the Indian Ocean at a very steep angle, and analysts can calculate the range of that missile. I’m sure Israel is very aware of the range of Iranian ICBM’s, and this explains their fear of Iran developing a Nuclear Weapon.
