At least nine people have been killed after Pakistan’s air force launched retaliatory airstrikes on Iranian territory, according to Iranian media. Pakistan says the attacks targeted terrorist hideouts in the Sistan and Baluchistan province, the territory which straddles the two countries. It follows Iran’s strikes earlier in the week on Pakistani soil that killed two children.
