US President Joe Biden has said that attacks on the Houthis will continue – after America carried out more strikes on Yemen on Thursday after a US ship was struck by a Houthi drone. Meanwhile Pakistan has launched retaliatory missile strikes into Iran, after Tehran carried out strikes in Pakistan. And earlier this week, Iran also attacked targets in Iraq and in Syria. These various strikes add to the growing tension across the Middle East – and concern that the Israel-Gaza conflict could be spreading across the wider region.
